Doctor Rapes Woman During Abortion Procedure (PHOTOS)

Dr. Gerald Mark Forbes, aged 47, is standing trial for allegedly raping a woman during an abortion procedure in Freeport, the Bahamas, last February.

The story has started after an unnamed 20-year-old woman came to Mr Forbes’ clinic seeking for a job. The doctor insisted on a medical checkup to consider her candidacy and once she got undressed he started masturbating at her and rubbed her genitals.

Two weeks after the incident the woman visited him to terminate a pregnancy. The doctor gave her Methotrexate, a drug used to induce abortions, and raped her during an abortion procedure.



It’s unclear whether the woman was conscious at the time of the attack. What is even more shocking is that when the woman asked for her salary in WhatsApp he refused to give her any money because he had already provided her with medication.

During the police interview an officer told Mr Forbes: “The virtual complainant informed you that she will not return to work because she was uncomfortable that you violated her, and you said you were sorry she felt that way and you told her to still come in for follow-up and medication.”

In court the doctor denied allegations of rape and indecent assault. The trial continues. A similar incident took place in Maryland, USA, where a dentist was arrested for sexually assaulting a patient who was under anesthesia.
