Governor El-Rufai, who is Muslim himself, in March this year, introduced controversial preaching bill to Kaduna State House of Assembly. The bill seeks to put regulations and restrictions on how preaching and religious rites are performed in the state, with sanctions spelt out for violators.
Several months after the introduction of religious bill, the initial criticisms that greeted its introduction has refused to vanish. Following El-Rufai’s appearance in the church, Nigerians suppose that the governor has been already preparing to run for president in 2019. Read some reactions below:

The truth is that no amount of Twitter complaints will prevent El Rufai from running for President. What you can do? Mobilise against him. — Nubari Saatah (@Saatah) July 31, 2016
Why is he using his platform to campaign for @elrufai ? https://t.co/kfDpzsfBQl

Is Pastor Tunde of @LRAGLOBAL aware that @elrufai is a Muslim extremist who harbours hatred for Christians ? https://t.co/kfDpzsfBQl — Don B (@bishopmarn) July 31, 2016
So what’s your point? Precisely what I want you to understand. Is El Rufai now a sell out to Muslims? or Bakare
