Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Chris Rock, Pink, Janelle Monae, Taraji P. Henson, Bono, Swizz Beatz are among the stars to contribute to Mic’s video listing the 23 reasons why black Americans have been killed, particularly in recent years since the launch of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The moving PSA comes just a week after the fatal shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille.

Sterling, a father of five, was 37 when he was gunned down on by police on July 5 in Baton Rouge after a homeless man called authorities reporting that he was brandishing a firearm; a coworker said he had the gun to protect against robbery.

Castille was 32 when he was shot and killed by police for carrying a licensed gun in a Twin Cities suburb on July 6 during a traffic stop.
